Uncommon Page Press is the work of Cathy Perlmutter, an award-winning journalist, writer and editor, as well as a quilter. Her editorial experience includes a decade as a senior editor with Prevention Magazine, the nation's leading health publication. She has published articles in national publications ranging from Good Housekeeping to Organic Gardening. In the 1990s she discovered quilting, and since then her home has become even more cluttered as she combined her two passions, words and fiber. Her articles have appeared in national quilting magazines, including Quilters Newsletter Magazine. She makes custom kippot, quilts, and tallitot, has taught sewing, and has several websites, including Judaiquilt.com, and Partyquilt.com.
